The Serveredge SEDG-DP100EXT is a DisplayPort over HDBaseT extender kit (Tx/Rx) for DisplayPort signal transmission up to 100 meters (WQXGA (2560 X 1600) resolution up to 70m) over a single CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A cable with Bi-directional IR control capability. The kit is HDCP compliant and only needs power supply at either Transmitter or Receiver end. EDID Migration ensures the optimum video performance and supports resolutions up to WQXGA (2560 X 1600) and Full HD 1080p
Its an advanced and inexpensive all-in-one connectivity solution to minimise-cost with use of only a single CAT cable between Transmitter and Receiver. *Above video resolution and extension distance are based on a single CATx 24AWG solid cable without cascade. STP cabling is recommended for environments with high EMI or RFI. For the best performance results, using stranded cabling or other thinner cables, and coiling of excess cable lengths should be avoided.
